SAP MM Consultant - Brazilian Localisation (Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Consultant with proven experience in both core materials management and Brazilian localisation. This role requires an expert who can configure MM processes while also ensuring full compliance with Brazil's complex tax and fiscal regulations within an S/4HANA environment. This is a fully remote, 6-month contract, and the ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Portuguese.
Configure and implement core SAP MM functionalities, including purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification.
Provide expert knowledge and configuration for Brazilian localisation within the MM module.
Ensure the correct setup of tax determination, Nota Fiscal, and legal reporting requirements.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration with other modules, such as FI/CO, SD, and PP.
Troubleshoot and resolve tax and MM-related issues, and support user acceptance testing and training.
Extensive experience with SAP MM configuration and customization.
Demonstrable experience working on Brazilian localisation projects from an MM perspective.
A deep understanding of Brazilian tax concepts (e.g., ICMS, IPI, ISS) as they impact materials management and procurement processes.
Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) is essential.
Experience with S/4HANA is highly preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
