Our client is seeking a senior leader to expand its Providers & Hospitals Strategy practice. This role focuses on advising hospital groups, provider networks, academic medical centres, and integrated care organisations on strategy, transformation, digital enablement, and performance improvement. The ideal candidate brings deep experience within the healthcare provider landscape, strong consulting leadership skills, and a strategic perspective on the future of care delivery.

Cost transformation, workforce planning, and productivity improvement

Digital Health Strategy

Digital transformation roadmaps for hospitals and provider organisations
Digital patient journeys, telehealth models, virtual wards, and remote monitoring
Technology ecosystem assessments (EHR/EMR, ERP, clinical systems)

Data, Analytics & AI

Data strategies enabling clinical, operational and financial decision-making
Use cases for predictive analytics, AI in care delivery, and population health insights
Modern data platforms and reporting frameworks for provider organisations

Regulation, Policy & Market Changes

Aligning provider strategy with national reforms, funding changes, and sector regulations
Supporting clients in responding to emerging policy requirements and reimbursement models

Your Profile

We welcome candidates from all consulting backgrounds, including strategy, digital, operations, data/analytics, technology and transformation. Ideal candidates will have:

Significant consulting experience with proven work in the provider/hospital sector
Deep understanding of healthcare provider dynamics, funding, regulation and operational challenges
Experience leading strategic and/or digital transformation programmes in healthcare
Strong commercial skills, including business development and senior client engagement
Ability to build trust with senior leaders (CEO, CFO, COO, CMO, CIO, CDO, clinical leadership)
Strong leadership capabilities and experience developing senior consulting talent
Excellent critical thinking, communication and conceptual problem-solving skills
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)

Act as a trusted advisor to senior hospital and provider executives
Lead business development activities and originate major strategy engagements
Build long-term relationships across regional and national provider systems

Shape & Deliver Major Engagements

Lead strategy, operational improvement, digital health, and data-driven transformation projects
Oversee multidisciplinary teams across strategy, digital, analytics, operations, and clinical experts
Ensure high-quality delivery, governance, and client satisfaction

Develop the Providers & Hospitals Offering

Shape go-to-market propositions, intellectual capital and thought leadership
Drive market positioning through publications, conferences, and external forums
Build partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions and provider associations

Leadership & Team Development

Mentor and develop senior managers, managers, and consultants
Support recruitment and capability building across the healthcare team
Foster a collaborative, impact-driven and inclusive culture
